Our Exciting Work EnvironmentDempsey s Brew Pub and Restaurant named after beloved former Baltimore Oriole Rick Dempsey is the sports-themed brew pub and restaurant open daily on Eutaw Street at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The menu is upscale American fare and features a wide assortment of bottled beer to go along with Dempsey s original in-house-brewed draft beers. The restaurant space is 11,000 square feet, with the capacity to hold up to 250 people, plus summer patio seating on Eutaw Street.
Dempsey s Brew Pub and Restaurant is a year-round operation open for lunch and dinner during both game days and non-game days.
The OpportunityAs part of the Restaurant Bartender at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, you can put your hospitality and customer service skills to the test. Restaurant associates take orders from guests, enter items into the Point of Sale System, and deliver food and beverages to ensure guest satisfaction. It is about creating special experiences; in fact, they are experiences so special they create memories that last a lifetime. It is a child s first visit to the ballpark, a guest celebrating a birthday, or a bride and groom s rehearsal dinner in the Main Dining Room. You can help every guest tell a better story.
Serves alcoholic beverages to guests responsibly, in accordance with the Company s alcohol policies, GuestPath Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.
Essential Functions: Receives drink orders from patrons or servers; Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures; Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons following standard recipes and using company standardized proportions; serves wine and bottled beer or draws draught beer; Enters drink orders into cash register, collects payment from patrons for drinks served and makes correct change; Completes Daily Bar Sales Report accurately; Maintains bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments and supplies; Cleans and stores bar equipment and bar stock; Responsible for specific bar set-ups, custom to each catered event; Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned; Keeps accurate records of guests consumption when required, for record keeping; Record opening and closing inventory accurately; Responsible for cash handling and a balanced till at the end of each shift, when required; Performs other duties as assigned.
